How to clear Watchtower "exposed password" warning and check new password?

I'm sorry that you're still seeing a vulnerable password warning even after changing your password. Try these steps:

1. Open and unlock 1Password for Windows.
2. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
3. Click Privacy.
4. Turn "Check for vulnerable passwords" off.
5. Turn "Check for vulnerable passwords" on.

Then check to see if you still see the banner. If you do, then can you confirm that you used 1Password to generate the new password and that you're not using that password anywhere else? Can you also confirm that the password is saved in the default password field in the item and not in a custom field?

Turning the vulnerable check off then on again worked but I had to do it both on my iPhone and my PC. This is a bug.

The item is of the "Wireless Router" type with the base station password and wireless network set and no other passwords. I changed both of them but the warning didn't clear.
