how to delete 1password 7 and icloud after upgrading to 8

I recently upgraded to 1Password 8, but still have 1Password 7 apps on two of my devices. 

Given how 1Password 8 syncs, how can I delete the 1Password 7 vault (synced through iCloud) before removing the apps themselves?
