How to disable popup

When I paste in a password on my Macbook computer for a website that isn't in 1Password, I get a very disruptive and annoying popup message

The website you’re on isn’t linked to a login in 1Password. To stay safe, make sure you trust this site before continuing. Click “OK” to paste your password.

Is there a way to disable this popup? 1Password isn't the only game in town, and it should not be intruding on my Web browsing. I have it configured to not suggest passwords or offer to fill in forms. Now it's intruding on my copy/paste activities where it is not welcome.

Thank You for your attention to this matter.

Environment:

  • Browser: Firefox v151
  • 1Password: 8.12.21.2.
  • macOS v26.5

I think I figured it out . I don't remember enabling this setting, but I've turned it off. I'll test to see if that resolves the intrusive popup message issue.

Hi @komrad thanks for reaching out!

I'm glad that you were able to find and toggle off the Warn about potential phishing setting.

This feature was introduced with the latest update to 1Password for Firefox and is enabled by default which would explain why you don't remember turning it on. Apologies for any confusion this has caused.

Let me know if you have any questions.
