How to export selected entries in 1Password 8?

In 1Password 7 was able to export selected entries - for example: selected (including all) entries from a single vault .

1Password 8 export exports all entries from all vaults in the account even if a single vault or specific entries is selected.

Am I missing something?

It would be great is 1Password 8 would bring back the Export flexibility that existed in 1Password 7.

I know I can create a Collection with a sub-set of vaults (even just a single vault) and export will export all entries only from the the vault(s) in the collection (not all vaults in the account).

Did I miss something in the new UI?

    I have considered it :) Some of those credentials are for applications in airgapped environments.

    Please add another vote for this feature.
    Hard to understand how for the past 2 years the feedback keeps being "passed along" to the product team and such a simple functionality, available in previous versions, is still missing ... maybe there is a commercial reason to NOT implement this?
    Some transparency on the real reasons would be appreciated.

    Our product and development teams hear everyone's requests and seriously consider all comments and suggestions that are passed to them. Features are implemented based on a variety of factors that include things like available development resources, open issues and bugs that also need attention, and our existing product roadmap.

    As of today 1 March 2026, this feature is still not there, correct? I tried export, which chooses entire family vaults. I selected and only choose a few items, right click > archive, delete, move etc. No export.

    Currently, 1Password's export feature will export the entire account. If you'd like to export just a single vault then you can use the Travel Mode feature to temporarily hide other vaults from the 1Password app and then export your items: Use Travel Mode to remove vaults from your devices when you travel

    Once you've exported your items, you can turn off Travel Mode so that all of your vaults re-appear in the app.
