How to search and display only those where match is in Title.

The search bar in the latest stable version treats special characters as separators, so instead of searching for the term as a whole, it splits it up and searches for each part individually, even if quotes are used.

Could you try using the Find button at the top of the item list (to the right of the All Categories dropdown) instead of the main search bar? This should get you closer to the behaviour you're looking for.

Alternatively, our developers have been working on adding the ability to use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase, and this is currently available in the latest beta version. This will make its way into the stable release, but if you'd like to give it a try ahead of time, you can find out how here: Use 1Password beta or nightly releases

Ah, Yes. that is the ticket. I must say, having two search fields in one window is a little (very) confusing. How is one to know what is the difference in behavior unless one digs into the online help (few do).

I can definitely understand how having two search inputs with different behaviour and no easy-access explanation isn't very intuitive. I'll pass that feedback on to the team. Hopefully the exact-phrase search landing in stable soon will help too.
