Question

How to set "My Vaults" as default?

On iOS, when I open 1Password (personal) after it was locked, the "Home" page defaults to showing the "My Vaults" collection.

However, on Windows it often (not always, oddly enough) opens up to my profile name, which means it shows ALL vaults.

Is there a way to have 1Password for Windows always default to "My Vaults" the first time it loads/opens?

Hello @mobidutch! 👋

Thank you for reaching out! 1Password for Windows should remember the collection that you had open last and re-open to that collection. The next time that this doesn't happen, so that the team and I can investigate further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Windows PC:

Send a diagnostics report (Windows)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

With your email please include:

  • A link to this thread: https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/how-to-set-my-vaults-as-default/155346
  • Your forum username: Mobidutch

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!

I sent the diagnostics report via email, but I did not receive an automated reply form your BitBot assistant.  The email was sent from [redacted].

The issue is that when I start 1Passsord after a fresh boot/reboot of Windows (or after shutting down 1Password and restarting it), it always opens to the collection that has my full name [redacted], which contains all vaults. Instead, I would prefer it to always open to the "My Vaults" collection by default.
