How to stop 1P from "helpfully" offering to fill in info on a site?
I am a volunteer who works with an IRS sponsored program to prepare tax returns for low income individuals. I use a laptop for this, one which has 1Password installed. The tax software used is web-based; it is not an app.
As you might imagine, there are many times where I am filling in data in a name field or an address field. Every time I enter such a field, 1P, ever ready to spring into action, "helpfully" throws up a window with what it thinks might be data I wish to enter into the field. But, of course, I never do want to do that.
Here are two examples (don't worry...this is fake data and no real person's data is shown):
Obviously, I can dismiss the drop-down window by hitting escape, but I don't want to have to keep doing that all the time.
Is there a way I can disable 1P on this particular domain?
Ideally I would love to be able to keep the ability to use 1P to enter my login credentials to the tax site initially, but if I have to give that up in order to stop 1P from being so "helpful," I would gladly do that.
