Question

How to suppress "Sign in to with google.com" prompt?

Is there any 1Password setting/configuration combination that will suppress the Google prompt "Sign in to with google.com" like the one shown here:

I thought the following "Stop competing "sign-in with" pop-ups in the browser" and "Offer to save 'sign-in with' logins" extension settings would do the trick, but, clearly, they do not:

1Password Version: Not Provided
Extension Version: 8.10.48.25
OS Version: macOS 15.0.1
Browser: Chrome129.0.6668.101

Hello @snoringelephant! 👋

Thank you for reporting the issue! I've been able to reproduce it on my end and I've filed an internal work item to have our development team investigate this further.

For the time being, you can manually turn off the prompts from Google through the following Chrome settings: Learn about third-party sign-in - Computer - Google Chrome Help

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, @1P_Dave

I am perfectly happy with the solution of updating the chrome settings.

For those who are interested, this is the direct chrome settings url I used to update the setting in all of my profiles:

chrome://settings/content/federatedIdentityApi

Thanks again!
