I can't get into my vault

Hello,

I bought a 1password perpetual license in 2018. I recently had the idea to change the secret key and now I can't access my vault. As it is not a subscription license, do I have any chance of regenerating the secret key without losing the 5-year data?

Hello @Lali1! 👋I'm sorry that you're having trouble accessing your 1Password items. Only customers with a subscription/membership have a Secret Key, the Secret Key isn't available on versions of 1Password that use an old license. Since I don't have access to your license or account information here on the public forums, I recommend sending an email to support+forum@1Password.com so that our support team can take a look and advise further. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678].
