Icons for saved Logins

Hi,

can you please improve the addition of website icons? For almost all new logins that I save, the icon is not added automatically.

Can you provide more details of the icon issue? For example:

  • Does the issue happen in the 1Password extension or the 1Password desktop app? Or both?
  • Which browser and operating system are you using?
  • What is the version of the 1Password extension installed in the browser? If it is happening in the desktop app, can you confirm the version of the desktop app?

Thanks for sharing those details! In order for the downloaded icons for your Login items to be displayed, you will need to have the "Show app and website icons" setting turned on in the 1Password extension's settings page. Can you check if that setting is enabled in each of your browsers?

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, then select Settings.
  3. Click Appearance & shortcuts in the side panel.
  4. Make sure that "Show app and website icons" is toggled on.

Thanks for confirming that this is occurring while the "Show app and website icons" setting is activated within the 1Password extension's settings. In order to investigate further, can you send us a diagnostics report from Chrome and a console log from Firefox?
