In Firefox, have to turn the extension off and on EVERY time I use it.

Question

What the title says. I can use it once and then have to turn it off and on to make it usable again. Has happened in previous versions of Firefox (and MacOS) for weeks now. I'll have to abandon Firefox if this isn't solvable.
