Installed 1PW today. New user. Unable to find or install the safari extension on Mac w/ Monterey12.1

I have installed the app and am working to operationalize the vault. I need to connect to safari on my Mac which is supposed to install automatically when installing 1Password 7

Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: MacOS 12.1

Hello @trwe,

The 1Password extension in Safari should come with the desktop app as a bundle. If you don't have the extension in Safari after installing the app, please try these steps to see how it works.

  1. Open the 1Password desktop app => Select "1Password 7" (on the top left corner of your computer) => select “Quit 1Password Completely”.

  2. Open Safari => Select "Safari" in the menu bar => Preferences => Extensions and make sure the 1Password extension is enabled.

  3. If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar, please try some additional steps here .
