Question

Integrating 1Password to keyboards other than the iOS default

I recently changed my default iOS keyboard to Microsoft's SwiftKey because I was sick of the autocorrect and Microsoft's finally catchup to all the important features so I'm no longer missing anything

Anything except 1Password, because every time an input field recognized by 1Password is active the default iOS keyboard is displayed instead of SwiftKey

This is kinda frustrating but I don't know if changing the behavior is possible... Who is responsible here? Apple's keyboard API, SwiftKey or 1Password?

Hi there @jazs

iOS only allows you to use the built-in keyboard for secure entry fields, such as passwords, and won't show you any others you've installed. As such, when you tap a Password field, you'll only ever see the stock iOS keyboard and the "🔑 Passwords" button on it to open Password AutoFill.

Hope that answers your question. :)
