iOS app is not saving passkeys

After signing in to a few apps recently, I’ve been prompted to add a passkey. It brings up the screen that lets me choose where to save the passkey, with options for creating a new item or updating the existing item. Regardless of which one I choose, clicking the Save button on the top right does nothing.

I’m on iOS 27.2. Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

I’m sorry that you’re unable to save a passkey using 1Password for iOS. Are you able to save a passkey in 1Password on another device, like a Mac or Windows PC? 

And does the issue only affect the saving of new passkeys? Or new passwords as well?

I am able to save on a Mac, and that was my workaround for saving it. 

I did just do some tests with passwords to answer your other question, including creating a new passkey, and it’s working now. I’m not sure what changed, but I can’t repro the issue anymore.
