iOS Home screen issue

I have customized the Home screen many times (make changes, select Done) but 1P always starts with the "Set Up Your Home Screen Page". I don't see any way to direct 1P to actually show the customized Home screen, either at app startup or when the Home icon is selected.

Note: v7.9.7 is also installed (but locked) while I test 8.9.0.

FWIW, this afternoon I power-cycled the phone and tried 1P 8.9.0 again. It started with the "Setup Home" screen, as before. I selected Categories, then selected the Home screen and the customized Home screen was displayed correctly. I then locked 1P, logged in and it now appears to be working correctly (customized Home screen is displayed at startup and when selected via icon). Will update if that changes.
