iPad prompting for master password all the time, everytime

When I use my iPad to log into a website which is saved in 1Password I am getting the master password prompt, even after I've already opened 1Password on the iPad. I have the iPad set to prompt for password if restarted and Touch ID is set but it apparently stopped working some weeks ago as I have been having this problem for a while now. I don't even see the touch icon as an option anymore. No such problems on my iPhone. What am I missing? Thanks.
