iPhone deauthorized for no reason

Hi,

My IPhone was not stolen or anything, and it was up to date, and I have accessed 1Password on it before. Just now I tried to open the 1Password app and it said my device was deauthorized. I don’t know why as I did not deauthorize it. I signed in again and it had my email address already filled in. I still needed my secret key, pw and 2fa.

Once signed in I got an email saying I was using a new device, but I am not. Any reason why this happened?

Thank you Dave! My iPhone was having other issues so I did a factory reset and everything is working really well now. If it happens again I will definitely run the diagnostics. I appreciate the help!

Hello @Nightowl! 👋

I'm sorry that you received an unexpected message when using 1Password for iOS. So that the team can look into this further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your iOS device:

Send a diagnostics report (iOS)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

Make sure to use the email address associated with your 1Password account. With your email please include:

  • A link to this thread: https://www.1password.community/discussions/1password/iphone-deauthorized-for-no-reason/155592
  • Your forum username: Nightowl

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!
