Question

Is Upgrading from 1Password 7 to 1Password 8 still supported?

I have (had) 1Password 7 on my Mac Studio running MacOS Ventura 13.7.2 for a couple of years now, and before that on older Macs and 1 Password 6.
However the upgrade to 1 Password 8 does not seem to be working. I have the correct password, the correct secret key, the correct region, tried Safari (all extensions removed) and Firefox, tried two different user accounts and it says my sign in information cannot be used. Meanwhile 1 Pass 7 works fine on my iPhone 12 and iPad Mini 6

Has anyone done this recently? Any tips?

1Password Version: 8.9
Extension Version: none
OS Version: MacOS13.7.2
Browser: Firefox

Hello @EricNepean! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when upgrading to 1Password 8. The method outlined in our support article here is still fully supported: Upgrade to 1Password 8

You mentioned that you're using 1Password version 8.9, the current version is 8.10.56. Can you confirm which version of the 1Password desktop app you're using?

Can you also tell me if you can log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
