ISP and 1PW

My ISP provides the option to procure a subscription of 1PW via them. I am wondering whether there are any downsides to it? E.g. risk of losing access, losing certain benefits etc.?

Thank you for those details! I did a little digging and that appears to be a legitimate offer based on a partnership that our team has with KPN.

Regarding your specific questions, our billing team would be in the best position to assist after they see how your current 1Password account is setup. Please send an email to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread and one of our billing specialists will be happy to help further.

Hello @mark24332! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! Are you able to provide any more details about the offer from your ISP? Such as a link to their webpage describing the offer?

Are you signing up for 1Password Families or a different type of plan? I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for replying, Dave.

My ISP seems to have a partnership with 1PW.

Recently, they launched benefits.

Basically, user can get extra benefits (in some case a free extra) when they subscribe to multiple ISP elements, such as having both a cell and internet subscription.

In this case the customer earns points, which can be used to claim a free extra, such as a 1PW individual subscription.

I would like to make use of that option. For clarity, I already have an Individual subscription (outside KPN) that I would like to continue using (with KPN) but now for free, as a result of the ISP 'benefits'.

Does that make sense? Can I continue to use my current account? Will I be able to reverse all of it without losing access to my 1PW vault in case I would like to remove the ISP from it?
