Locked out of IG after using 1Password for 2FA

Hi, so I should have forseen this might be an issue after discovering others have had similar issues.. but I thought I'd got this to work. I logged onto Instagram on my laptop, and scanned the 2FA QR code using my phone.. Problem is, as per everyone else, my codes being generated by 1P are not accepted by IG. It says I can use backup codes... but I didn't even recall seeing those (the process on IG was a bit buggy) and now I'm completely locked out and having to reapply to access my account which will take a few days.

Is there any way around this? It looks like it's all been set up correctly but IG just will not accept the codes from 1P.

Hi @abur ,I'm sorry you're having to deal with this! Can you clarify if you're currently logged into Instagram on either of your devices?Also, by any chance were you attempting to log in to Instagram using Facebook? Just from some initial testing, it appears that even if you have linked Facebook and Instagram accounts, they each have distinct one-time passwords, so if you try to log into Instagram with Facebook but use the code for Instagram, it won't work.I look forward to hearing back from you!
