Logging into 1Password with Passkey

Hi all,

Not sure if this is possible but can how can I log into 1Passwords browser extension or desktop app with my MFA passkey on my phone?

I'm using windows 11, firefox and an andoird phone (fold 3 up to date).

I've setup my phone in the MFA section in my user profile but I can't see anyway to actually use it.

Thanks for reaching out! I don't recommend using a passkey as a security key for MFA when it comes to your 1Password account since not all of our apps support that functionality yet. 1Password offers two official MFA methods to choose from: 

  1. Using a TOTP authenticator app: Turn on two-factor authentication for your 1Password account
  2. Using a hardware security key (like a Yubikey): Use your security key as a second factor for your 1Password account
