Question

login difficulties

My wife and I are both set up as family organizers on our family account.  When I try to use 1Password and click on the 1Password symbol in a username line, it will not take my login. I have to put my wife's 1Password password in to log in.

Why would this be happening?

Thank you,

Not sure I explained this clearly. This is a screenshot of what I am talking about.

I believe 1Password recommends by OS level to be separate to keep the accounts separate. This link is from an old answer, which I think still applies today unless I am mistaken:

My wife uses a Mac, and I use a PC, so I don't this applies to what you are referring to.

Are you and your wife each using your own 1Password clients with your own 1Password accounts from your own accounts on whatever devices each or both of you are using?

If not, then this is how you really must be using software for many good reasons which extend way beyond just 1Password.

You should never need or want to use anyone else's accounts*.

If I understand you correctly, yes we are using our own accounts.  My wife uses hers from her Mac, I use mine from my PC.  As I explained, when I am trying to login to certain sites, the login is requireing her 1password not mine.

I think I have located the problem. The autofill is set to my wife's email.  I have searched to try and find how to change my autofill to my email, but have have not found how to do this.

How do I change the autofill on my device to refect my email address?

Problem solved.  Delated the extension and reinstalled.
