Mac Universal Autofill - Incorrect credentials with one app

Hi Everybody,

I used universal autofill for a while. Now I was setting up a webinar for some colleagues to show several features of our tools. One being autofill with 1Password.

As a CRM, we are using Marketcircle Daylite. I used to be able to log into the app using autofill. Now, if I do that, I get the feedback, that the login information is incorrect.
If I go and copy & paste from 1PW into Daylite, it works just fine.

Also, I do have 3 Logins for Daylite in my 1Password. My own, an additional admin account, and one which I prepped for a new colleague. I can't choose, which credentials are being filled in. 1PW automatically uses my username, but apparently a wrong password.

It works just fine with Microsoft Office.

Does anybody have any idea, what the issue could be?

Hello @OMAG! 👋

I'm sorry that you're unable to fill your login into Marketcircle Daylight. I downloaded the app and created a test account and was able to fill without issue. Can you tell me a little more about the issue:

  1. You mention having three different logins, are each of these logins saved individually in 1Password?
  2. Are you using Command-Backslash on your keyboard to fill the login?
  3. Are you able to fill your login if you press Shift-Command-Spacebar to open Quick Access, select the appropriate login, and then press Shift-Enter to autofill?
  4. Are you using Daylite Version 2024.27.0 (15086) (Direct)?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @1P_Dave

First of all, sorry for the delay. The last two weeks have been a little eventful at work.

As for the issue, your point 3 did the trick for me.
I used the Command-Backslash combo to fill the login. Probably, because I selected it some time ago, 1PW used the Microsoft credentials for Daylite.

Going with Shift-Command-Space and then Shift-Enter, opened the prompt again in which 1PW asks for permission.

Thank you very much!
