macOS 15.1 and using 1Password as default

I'd like to setup my Mac again to use 1Password as my default under my Mac's settings, AutoFill and Passwords, Verification Codes, Set Up Codes in.. but 1Password isn't an option in that menu

I'm using the Sequoia beta, and the 1Password stable branch

1Password Version: 8.10.39
Extension Version: 2.27.1
OS Version: 15.1
Browser: Safari

Hello @Jacques! 👋

Thank you for reaching out. 1Password doesn't use the "Autofill & Passwords" feature in macOS System Settings so you won't see it listed there. Instead you can fill and save logins using either 1Password in the browser (our browser extension) or using Universal Autofill:

If you don't see 1Password in Safari then try the steps in this article: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar

Let me know if that doesn't work. 🙂

This doesn't work, especially now with passkey filling/creation in Safari. 1Password made a bad bet by not supporting this.
