MacOS Native integration roadmap

Hey 1password ! Thanks for the app it's a pleasure to use in iOS !
Not so much on MacOS platforms due to lack of native integration.
I find that more and more of my passwords ends up getting generated and stored in the apple Passwords app simply because 1password isn't an autofill option when I register to a new website.

Is native macos integration in the work or on the roadmap ?
Thanks !

Hello @abc! 👋

Welcome to the community! While I don't have any news to share about support for macOS AutoFill, I've filed a feature request on your behalf so that the team is aware that you'd like to see support added in the future.

I find that more and more of my passwords ends up getting generated and stored in the apple Passwords app simply because 1password isn't an autofill option when I register to a new website.

You can use 1Password in the browser and Universal Autofill to fill and save logins on websites:

I recommend that you turn off the built-in password manager to avoid conflicts: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser

Let me know if you run into any issues.

Thanks for passing this request along to the team.

Yes I’m familiar with these solutions. Both require broad system and browser access beyond login/password completion which is my blocker for adoption.

I’ll be looking forward future releases hoping the product team decides to prioritize that feature.

(To illustrate, my password to 1password community website is ironically stored in apple Password app because it was that much more convenient to use than 1Password at registration)

Thanks Dave !
