Markdown cannot be disabled on my.1password.com?

It seems that relatively recently markdown was enabled on the web app and no option was created to disable it.

I think markdown needs to be kept disabled until a toggle/setting is also created that allows the user to disable it.

Historically notes did not support it and were written for many years assuming they would be rendered as plaintext.  By forcing it to be enabled, it basically corrupts a lot of notes: notes which were written not assuming markdown may end up having crazy formatting, missing characters, added elements, etc.  I don’t see how it’s a smart decision to force this on the users without an option to disable.

Hi @xox,

Thank you for your feedback! I can certainly see how having an option to disable markdown in the web app would be beneficial, especially in the situation you’ve given. I do see that we have an issue open for this internally, and I’ve added your report to it.
