Merge items with one-time passwords and passkeys

I have multiple Password items for the same account and would like to be able to merge them into one item.  I know you can copy and paste user names, passwords and URLs but what about one-time passwords and passkeys?

For example, I have one item with a passkey and a separate item with a one-time password. They are both for the same login ID, password and addresses. I would like to be able to merge these two items together but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it.

Hello @emanresu! 👋

Thanks for the question! There isn't a merge items feature but you can move your one-time password over to the item with the passkey using these steps:

  1. Edit the item with the one-time password.
  2. Click into the one-time password field in edit mode and then select and copy the secret from the field.
  3. Edit the item with the passkey.
  4. Click + add moreOne-time password.
  5. Paste the secret into the new one-time password field and save the item.
  6. Confirm that the new passkey item now generates the same six-digit one-time password as the old one-time password item.

Once everything is in one item, you can delete the other one. I hope that helps!
