Merging vaults

How do I merge all of my personal vault into my shared vault all at once without creating a family vault in Windows 11. I just want one Shared vault. Do I really have to move the items one at a time between vaults?

Hello @mgdietzel! 👋

Thank you for the question! You can merge vaults together by following these steps:

  1. Make sure that you have the 1Password desktop app installed: Get the 1Password apps Support
  2. Using the desktop app, select your Private/Personal vault in the sidebar.
  3. Select all of the items in your Personal vault by clicking on one item and then pressing CTRL-A on your keyboard to select all items in that vault.
  4. Right-click on one of the selected items and click Move.
  5. Choose the shared vault that you'd like to move the items to.

Note: moving items to a shared vault will allow anyone with access to that shared vault to see those items. You can read more about moving items here: Move or copy items Support
