Migrating from v7 to v8 - moving data now in hour 14
I was on v7.9.11 for MacOS and signed up for the v8 subscription service today. The v7 vault was local to the mac using Dropbox for syncing. The Dropbox app folder size is 275mb. I did a deep clean of the vault prior to subscription sign up and data migration. The single vault had 359 entries with approximate 50+ entries having attached files. There were 11 entries in Archive that I was unable to delete -- the entries respawned. At upload initiation, the upload process confirmed a total of 370 entries and 111 attached files. In case it's relevant, I've made fairly extensive use of additional sections and fields within numerous entries, and some of these field names and field data entries are in a double byte language.
The "moving your data" screen has been running for about 14 hours now.
If I look at vault data via my.1password.com, it looks like at least some data has been uploaded to the cloud, but I don't see a way to confirm data completeness or an automated reconciliation function from v8 back to v7 data.
How do I monitor this "moving your data" process to figure out if it's still running or hung? I don't see any way to do this with the dialog box. I've checked the Activity Monitor, but only the 1Password7 and extension helper processes are shown and neither seem to be doing any heavy lifting. Is the lighter blue portion of the circle around the documents icon supposed to reflect progress? If this process is hung, how do I fix the upload to the cloud? I'm going to let this "moving your data" dialog box stay up and running overnight.
