Migrating to 1Password 8 from a Dropbox Sharing Set-up

Question

I just migrated to 1Password 8 from version 7, where I was syncing with Dropbox and in addition to my personal vault, I had 3 vaults that were "shared" with me via dropbox. During the migration process, my personal vault was converted, as were the vaults that belonged to my family members. I am curious what happens when I invite those same members to join my new family account. Specifically my wife. She will migrate her personal vault into her new personal vault, then also migrate-in the same two vaults for our kids that she has access to through dropbox. Once the kids come in, I guess the answer is I will need to delete the duplicate vaults created when my wife and I migrated in so that we have just our own personal vaults, and then begin to put entries into the shared vault. Am I understanding this correctly?

Hi @tallp:This is a great question! Using the migration tool actually marks each vault as "migrated", so it shouldn't be migrated again. Just to make sure that everything is set before migrating your wife / kids, do you currently see whatever you were using as your personal vault in your new Private vault in your 1Password account, as well as two separate user created vaults?
