Missing "+" when filling international phone numbers in forms

Hello,

A consistent annoyance that I have when I use 1password to fill my details in forms, is that it always misses the leading "+" from the international phone number format.

E.g. let's say my phone in my identity is stored as +31666777888. 1password always fills the phone form box as 31666777888, critically missing the leading "+", which I have to go fill manually

This looks like a bug in the form-filling code of the extension. If you could take a look and have it fixed at some point, it would be great.

Thank you for your time,

Manolis

Hello @mstamat! 👋

Thank you for the feedback! I've passed this along to the team internally so that they can take a look. It's possible that the plus is removed, converting the phone number to just numbers, to reduce compatibility issues when filling but I'll let our team investigate further.

For the time being, try adding a customer field called "Phone" to your Identity item in 1Password. Then remove the phone number from where it is now and add it to the new custom field along with the + in front of the number. Does that allow you to fill the entire field?
