Hi,

it's possible to disable the "Save Identity" feature? I have to edit a lot of addresses at work and every time 1Password pop up and want to change my Identity, it's a bit annoying.

Thanks!

Hello, @gummipunkt. Thank you for writing in. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, you can turn off the option in the 1Password extension settings. Here's how:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Settings.
  3. In the Autofill & save section, turn off Offer to save contact information.

I hope that helps.

Unfortunately this fix isn't working for me.  This is the message I'm getting (I have to enter about 1500 addresses each summer so it's very tedious).

This is after I fixed the settings as suggested.

Hi @emilypesavento, thanks for joining the Community!

From a quick test I was able to stop offers to save contact information with that setting. Could you completely close and restart your browser, confirm the setting is still off, then try again?

If you're still encountering this issue I'd like to ask which browser you're using, and if it's a public website, the website where you're seeing this. Thanks again!
