Question

Multiple accounts usage

Is there some "good" way to use multiple accounts in the app?
I mean, when first open it, I type my personal account password and the app unlocks; then I go to my favorites, copy the password for my work account, click on accounts, work account, paste the password.
So... that's my process.
I have 2 issues with that:
1. Annoying and slow
2. it's unsafe; I must copy the password for the work account, that means it does in the clipboard chain and history

I haven't much intentions of remembering my work account password, but it is saved in my 1password itself. I would be willing to set it to something I can remember if I could at least type it in more "easily" at least...

Is there some option or better process I could use?

Hello @lflfm! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! The recommended way to use multiple accounts on the same device is to use the same account password for both accounts: How to use multiple accounts

Once both accounts are using the same account password, they'll unlock at the same time. Your account password never leaves your device and each account still has a unique Secret Key.

Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂

Ah, ok, awesome, that works; thanks a lot Dave!
(ps: I didn't notice anything about this anywhere in the UI; perhaps there should be a small text explaining this when logging into a second account on the app...?)

@lflfm

Thanks for the feedback! I think that's a good idea and I've passed your request along to the team. 🙂
