Multiple devices

The Families plan is only for your family of (up to five) device users. On the Individual plan you may install and use 1Password on as many devices as you wish.

Adding to what AJCxZ0 shared, any 1Password membership (including the individual or family membership) can be used on any number of compatible devices. If it will just be you using 1Password, an individual membership is likely the best choice. 

1Password Families includes five accounts that can be used by five family members or friends. While each member in 1Password Families has a private account, shared vaults can also be used to share items within the group. 1Password Families accounts are managed by the family organizer who handles things like billing and invites.
