Question

Need login to wait for yubi output before submitting

We have logins that require a username and password+yubikey.  Can the login be set up to pre-populate the username/password part then wait for me to hit my yubikey to fill in the rest then submit that?

Hello @bez825! 👋

Thank you for reaching out! Just to clarify: is the Yubikey used for two-factor authentication? Or does the Yubikey actually enter a string of characters into the password field after the password itself?

If it’s the latter then you can turn off auto-submit for that particular website with these steps in your browser:

  1. In your browser, click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
  2. Find and click on the login item for the website.
  3. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the item's details and then click "Don't sign in automatically".

Let me know if I misunderstood.

It is the later.

This is for a website but also Cisco AnyConnect VPN.  When I click password in the app window I search for that login (username/password) and trying to select it I get “No service identifier provided”

@bez825

Thanks for the reply. You wrote:

This doesn’t sound like a 1Password message. Is that coming from the app itself? Can you share any screenshots of what you’re seeing in the app?

For the website, try the steps in my previous post to see if they help.
