New Item from Quick Access?

Question

I’m still feeling my way around 1P8, after getting used to one way of doing things for many years.

My current issue is—it’s great that I can autofill passwords in apps, but how do I create a new item while in an app? Even if it doesn’t recognize the info I’ve put in as it does on Web pages, there should be a button somewhere in Quick Access that allows me to create a new password entry associated with the frontmost app. But I can’t find it, if it’s there.

Hello @Calion! 👋It's not currently possible to use Quick Access (or Universal Autofill) to create a new item. That being said, that would be a good feature to have and I've passed along your request to our Product team. For now, you'll need to open the main 1Password app to create a new Login Item for the app in question.-Daveref: PB-32408778
