No 1Password icon in Safari toolbar

2020 iMac, 500 GB SSD, 27” monitor, macOS 15.5 and 1Password 8.10.80

I noticed the 1Password icon missing from my toolbar.  I opened Safari preferences, only to find that the 1Password extension had disappeared.

I opened 1Password > Settings > Browser and followed the steps to install the extension and was successful, but still no 1Password icon in the Safari toolbr.

Tried a restart.  No change.  The 1Password extension is in Safari > Extensions but there is still no 1Password in the Safari toolbar.

Can anyone suggest a remedy?

Hello @BikerBob38! 👋

I'm sorry that you're not seeing 1Password in Safari's toolbar. As a first step, update to 8.10.81 which is the latest version: How to keep 1Password up to date in your browser

Then, please try the suggestions in this article: If you don’t see the 1Password icon in your browser’s toolbar

If that still doesn't work then can you tell me the following:

  1. Are you using multiple profiles in Safari?
  2. Do you see "1Password for Safari" in the Applications folder on your Mac?

I look forward to hearing from you.
