No ability to invoke 1P from iPad under certain circumstances.
This morning I was using my iPad and clicked on a link that went to the New York Times site. That is paywalled, so I clicked on the link to login, and this is what I saw.
.
As you can see, the cursor placed itself in the email address field and the keyboard came up. But there was no way to get to 1P to access my login credentials. The URL that I have for the NYT in 1P is https://myaccount.nytimes.com/auth/hdlogin?URI=https://homedelivery.nytimes.com/HDS/HDSHome.do&OQ=modeQ3DHDSHome&hd=1
What I think is relevant is that this is a two-step login process. I first have to put in the username (which is my email), and then submit that to be taken to another page where I need to enter my password. Interestingly, if I manually type my username/email address and go to the next page, I can use 1P on the password page without a problem
I have noticed this before when there is a two-step login process. So, is there a way to resolve this so that I don't have to manually type in the username/email address?
