Not understanding Win Hello lately

I always was able to get Windows Hello to open instead of asking for my 1PW password first.  It takes some time and it used to be hidden.  Now it never opens up, I always have to use the 1PW password and it is two issues to me. 

My 1PW password is really long, but more so, what is the big deal with Windows Hello if I am forced to enter my other PW all the time.  Eventually Windows Hello appears, but no need.  Aggravating.  

Has something changed?

This is using Edge as a browser so it is the Extension.

As this is happening with the extension, and Windows Hello does eventually appear after some time, I'm wondering whether there might be a delay in the connection between the extension and desktop app. This behaviour can have a few different causes, so our team may need to take a closer look at your logs to understand what's happening.

I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from the 1Password desktop app:

Send a diagnostics report (Windows) 

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to: support@1password.com

With your email please include:

  • A screenshot showing your current settings in the 1Password desktop app under Settings > Security

Sure, I'll compile that very soon.  Oddly I just came into Windows and opened this site, Windows Hello was there, no 1PW password.  Huh.  Well, I will send what you requested.  Maybe it's touchy like me.  Ha Ha.

Maybe it is unfortunate now, because I opened up a site like Fandango and that I used Windows Hello, that too just took my 1PW stuff nicely so I should have tested that site first.  Maybe I will reboot and retest.  Just so you know.
