What about if you had "Unlock through 1Password" from your phone?

Example:

  1. Go to 1password on mac - it's locked
  2. Say "unlock with 1password" -  click it
  3. Go to phone, open 1p
  4. 1p prompts for face
  5. 1p prompts for approval for mac unlock
  6. 1p on mac now unlocked

Right now i'm having to cut and paste strong passwords, which cannot be very secure.

Hello @Aronchick! 👋

Thank you for reaching out! I'm not sure if there's a secure way for the 1Password app on your iPhone to tell 1Password on your Mac to unlock after you use Face ID on your iPhone. Can you tell me more about the use case here? Why not enable Touch ID or Apple Watch unlock on your Mac so that you can unlock 1Password without always having to type in your account password:

Are you pasting your account password for 1Password? Or are you referring to passwords for other websites?

Not OP,  but I would love to use this feature on my Mac Mini.  Not a fan of Apple Keyboards (therefore, no Touch ID) and don’t use Apple Watch.

@ajayr

Thank you for the request. While I can't make any promises, I've shared your comment with the team.
