Opening Android app gives black screen

Question

When I open the Android app, I enter the password or fingerprint, and it seems to accept it. But no longer shows my cards. Instead, I get a black screen. Unless this is related to a recent Android update, I know of no other reason this might be happening.

When I open the Android app, I successfully enter my password/fingerprint, but nothing shows afterwards. All I get is a black screen and the only way out of it is to close all apps. There's nothing that I'm aware of that's different on my phone except for a system update that happened recently, but even then it worked fine for a while.
