Opening selected web pages?

!Password8 is purchased & installed on iMac/Safari with pertinent passwords. How do I use it to open selected web pages? It was so much-more obvious in version 7... but clicking on the icon in Safari's upper tools-bar merely opens 8... but needed password is not entered into the selected web page. I'm 93 and totally baffled 👹.

Thank you for upgrading to 1Password 8! You can open a website and have 1Password fill your login by following these steps:

  1. Make sure that the modern version of 1Password for Safari is installed: ‎1Password for Safari on the Mac App Store
  2. Once installed, click on the 1Password icon in Safari's toolbar and search for your login.
  3. Click (not double-click) on the login from the pop-up and then click on the website address to Open and Fill your login.
