PAN (Payment Account Number)

My Australian bank uses a  PAN (Payment Account Number)  instead of a traditional username for login. I've stored my PAN number in 1Password under the "username" field along with my password, but the bank's website doesn't recognize it when I try to auto-fill.

Is there a way to customize the field label in 1Password from "username" to "PAN" so that auto-fill works correctly?

This is just in case it helps anyone with the same problem.
Regarding the above, I received help from the support team.
They recommended:

  1. Open the 1Password desktop app and locate the before created Login item in question
  2. Then click Edit, and add a custom field by selecting “Text”. Give it a name that exactly matches what appears on the website (in my case, " Personal Access Number (PAN)  ").
  3. Save the changes, then refresh the webpage and try autofilling again.

The above worked perfectly, including logging in from my phone and tablet.

Thanks. Mario.

@mlima

Try a manual save and see if you have any better results. You may or may not. It could be something the team needs to look into. Are you comfortable sharing the site URL? I can attempt a faux set of data. The only trouble is I won't have an active account to test with. For that reason I might recommend talking with our extensions team so they can work with you one on one to gather any needed details. If you'd like to email the team use `support@1password.com`
