Passkey login no longer working (at all?)

I can't use any of my passkeys to log into anything.

Highest profile sites where I've reproduced this are my work logins (yikes), Gmail, and Microsoft account.

Can we add passkey login tests to the e2e tests we run before release, please?

Thank you for your patience. Our team has submitted a new version of 1Password in the browser (8.10.75.1) to the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store that resolves issues with passkeys and this version is now available for download: 1Password – Password Manager - Edge Add-ons

Update to the latest version using this guide: How to keep 1Password up to date in your browser

Let me know if you still see issues with this version.

Just started to hit this yesterday in edge. Was working in the morning then stopped. No sites that use passkeys work. It only triggers the windows passkey selector never the 1password one anymore. Also when trying to create a new passkey the 1password passkey prompt is not triggered just windows.

Same issue here, Edge extension not working but Chrome extension is.

Spoke to 1Password support and they are aware of the issue:

I do apologize for the trouble you're experiencing signing in with passkeys using 1Password for Edge. This is a bug that has just come to light and I've raised the issue with the development team who are actively investigating the problem further.
Whilst the team work on releasing a fix, you can either use a different browser or install the beta version of 1Password in the browser which doesn't contain this same passkeys bug: 1Password Beta – Password Manager - Chrome Web Store.

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry that you're running into issues with passkeys in Microsoft Edge. Our team is aware of the issue and is currently investigating. The issue is limited to Chromium browsers running 1Password in the browser version 8.10.74 (or the nightly). Safari and Firefox are not affected as this time.

Our team has pulled the version of 1Password with the issue from the Microsoft Edge store and is working on a fix. As a workaround for the time being, after making sure that you're signed into 1Password on another device, remove the current version of 1Password from Microsoft Edge and install 8.10.72.27 from the Chrome web store.

Same here - only EDGE on Mac v 8.10.74.21

Safari seems to work fine so at least i can still get in some sites without having to scan the QR code that pops up and using 1password on my phone to verify lol
