Question

Passkeys and Safari

I have been on the Beta for 1Password for MacOS. I’ve been relying on the native 1Password autofill to make passkeys work in Safari. Today, I got a notification that it is “under exploration(?)” and that I should disable it.

Now I can’t get passkeys to work in Safari with Dropbox. For now, I’m using Edge however this creates new problems.

Hi @mlevison,

To confirm, do you still see that notification if you lock and unlock the 1Password app? If so, would you be able to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing, making sure not to include any private information in the screenshot?

Do you mean this notification? (Yes I get it when I enable 1Password Native Autofill)

These are my MacOS settings:

If you were asking for something else, i.e. Dropbox sign-in failure, please let me know.

In the end Lock/Unlock was not enough. Rebooting my Mac has helped. For now (fingers crossed).
