Missing extension for Safari

Quit Safari
Open 1Password
Choose Help > Troubleshooting > Fix Missing Safari Extension

{Help is in the top menu bar}

It worked.

We are working with our friends at Apple on how best to resolve troubles like this. My apologies it was not readily available to you. The menu is good at helping for sure. Hopefully, it will not be needed in the future.
