Password is not updated in Safari extension

I created a new password for my network switch which only require a password. I used the password generator to get a smart password. Then I change it in the 1Password again. When I tried to autofill the password again. It fills in the previous old password. I thought I didn't save it when I change the password. So I open the 1 Password 8 to check out. It turns out my password has changed, but it is not synced to the Safari extension somehow.

Thanks for sharing where you're running into issues. This definitely doesn't sound like the experience we want you to have. As a quick first check, if you lock and unlock 1Password in Safari, does that update this item with your newest changes?

I followed your advice and checked the password, it will update after lock and unlock the 1Password.

I tried to follow the steps I had before. This problem does not occur anymore.
