Password ratings (green circle) on custom password fields

Booky.io wasn't filling the password field, only the username. Checked the page structure, found "autocompleteType": "current-password". Created a custom password field named "current-password", filled it, and now it works. Excellent.

However .. that custom password field doesn't have a password rating (green circle). Is this expected behavior? Is it also not factored into Watchtower? Is there anything else to watch out for?
