Question

Passwords per website folder

I know this is probably asking too much. Imagine I have a website and in some folders at the top level, installs of different websites, such as...

https://www.example.com

https://www.example.com/testsite/

https://www.example.com/moodle/

Is there any way to make 1Password be so specific that I have a password that will only show as a prompt when in the "testsite" folder and another only appears when in the "moodle" folder, for example?

This is slightly different to using subdomains - https://support.1password.com/autofill-behavior/

Hi @PhilipRoy, thanks for writing in!

At the moment, the only autofill behaviour options available are the ones in the guide you included in your message. Would the website you have in mind happen to be accessible to the public? If so, we can take a look and help to see if there are any ways to set up your items that might help achieve the behaviour you're looking for.

Thanks again!

Thanks, I don’t want to point out the site, but I guess I’ll put up with the issue or see if subdomains can be implemented

That's completely fair @PhilipRoy. They may not have any additional workarounds or insights for you, but if you'd like our team to take a look at the website in question, you can send an email to support@1password.com with some details about the filling behavior you're trying to achieve. Thanks again.
