Please copy Bitwarden in supporting Firefox for Android, also add Quick Tile
Hi,
The open source Bitwarden Android project supports Firefox for Android to run their password manager as a browser extension. Likewise Edge on Android supports extensions, and third-party browsers such as Lemur browser also support Chrome and Edge extensions on Android. You have a 1Password for Safari extension, could we see equal expansion of mobile extensions to non-Safari browsers for better autofill and password generation in web contexts?
I should note that while I don't trust or use Lemur for anything mission critical, I tried the 1Password extension from the Chrome store and it seemed to work fine, it just wasn't as responsive to touch as the Safari extension.
I should also add that if there was a way to use accessibility framework and draw over apps on Android to provide a better experience I would prefer it. Bitwarden has quick tiles you can hit in the control panel to bring up passwords, it would be nice if the control panel on either iOS or Android had 1Password in it, or if there was still a custom keyboard integration for it, e.g. in Gboard or SwiftKey or Grammarly.
Getting a new folding phone pushed me out of the iOS camp and into the Android camp and one thing I miss is reliable autofill of passwords plus the backup ability to long press any field on iOS to access an autofill menu option that includes 1Password. A lot of password fields and username fields are not correctly autofilled these days. I miss back in Nexus days when there was no autofill without a custom keyboard - it worked perfectly back then.
Thanks for your time.
